Australian leader and strategic change practitioner
I champion a warm and pragmatic approach to all things change management, leadership and ‘classic’ management consulting, having built the earlier part of my career in people and culture / organisational development.
I spend my “spare time” deeply interested in the fields of behavioural economics and cognitive neuroscience, which find their way into my regular thoughts.
Let’s also talk:
Executive team facilitation and strategy development
Service design and digital transformation
Executive and ‘emerging leader’ coaching
Agile - little ‘a’ and Big A
Lean Six Sigma (fundamentals to intermediate)
Lucky for me, the family business was high calibre, and I have had some great mentors. I seriously miss some great colleagues and the wisdom they gave me on digital transformation. You can keep tabs on what’s on my radar and of course, strike up a conversation.
Whilst ever changing, I’ve tried to snapshot some of my experience here. I look forward to working together!
I’m genuinely fascinated by organisations. How they work and how they win
You need a spark
Through a combination of creativity, hard work, luck and good old fashioned failure…I’ve looked at organisations from a lot of different angles including:
My own chair in the Executive Team of a national telecommunications infrastructure and engineering company
Walking the shop floor in manufacturing sites across China, Brazil, Mexico, Hungary and Australia
At the front-line as a Performance Coach and Talent manager for a national not-for-profit. I made it to 52 of our 85 offices nationally; from Noarlunga to Moe to Batemans Bay to Warwick to Caboolture…and a whole lot of places in between
1 km underground in a stope mine (gold) in the Tanami Desert
On-site with local councils and state level government departments
The CBD board rooms of two mid-sized banks
Roaming the campuses whilst contributing to transformation projects for two of the biggest Australian Universities
…where will you take me next?
